Colombotte is a village with sixty inhabitants and is located in the Haute-Saône of the Franche Comté, between the Vosges and the Jura, 625 km from Utrecht. It lies in an unspoiled hilly landscape with extensive deciduous forests, farmlands, streams and rivers.

There is a mild continental climate: summer is warm and in winter it is not too cold. This surprisingly beautiful walking and cycling area is only six hours away from Utrecht.

La Tourelle is at the top of the village of Colombotte. In the past it was a fortified farm. Now it has been converted into a Chambres et Table d’Hôtes, a hiking and cycling inn with comfortable rooms.
