A surprisingly beautiful region in the north-east of France
In the upper part of the village of Colombotte is Chambres d’Hôtes La Tourelle, an ancient farmhouse, tastefully converted into a Bed and Breakfast with comfortable rooms. At the ‘Table d’Hôtes’ you can enjoy delicious meals together with the other guests.

The heart of our house: The Table d’Hôtes, which lirerally means table for guests. There we meet and enjoy delicious food and taste a good glass of wine.
Apart from regional specialities we also serve dishes from all over the world;Tim got inspiration for them thanks to the fact that we travel a lot during the winter months.

about us and La Tourelle
At the beginning of 2001 we bought a dilapidated farmhouse dating back to 1551 in the village of Colombotte. After 40 years of vacancy we have revived it.
The well-known ‘I leave’ story, but that program did not exist yet. In contrast to most participants in that program, we did have catering experience and the French language was no problem.
With a lot of lugging and building and a bit of ‘blood, sweat and tears’ we managed to create a charming Chambres d’Hôtes, French for Bed and Breakfast and two beautiful Gîtes.

The area around Colombotte is a surprisingly beautiful part of France. The Haute-Sâone is also called L’île Verte, the green island. And rightly so, the forests and fields with the many shades of green are a feast for the eyes! On the pages Environment and Colombotte you can find more information about our beautiful region.

At B & B La Tourelle in Colombotte you can enjoy the peace, space, nature, no crowds around you. Relax reading a book in the garden with a good glass of wine …
or Active
If you want to be active on holiday to France for walking or cycling, La Tourelle bed and breakfast is the perfect base to discover the surprisingly beautiful surroundings of the Haute-Saône. The region also lends itself well to activities such as golf, horseback riding, paragliding, parachuting and geocaching. Even cave diving is possible.
